I crafted this website for a local couple who decided to open a neighborhood pub geared towards the young professional. A simple thinking man's pub for those of us who appreciate a good patio sometimes blessed with bluegrass and a well-crafted beverage.
Tracy and Jesse Hamilton, the proprietors, weren't exactly tech savvy. Tracy didn't know how to text on her phone and Jesse didn't have a facebook account. The possibility of them knowing how to use or describe Twitter and a host of other social media tools was slim to none! My job was to come in and set up a website that was social media friendly and teach them how to drive just like Dad did when they turned sixteen. We did it! Jesse successfully handed over the reigns to his amazing wife and she is now a Tweet Deck guru and they have successfully more than quadrupled the foot traffic without spending a dollar on advertising. I mentored them in ways to generate traffic by using social media tools. What they decided to implement was at their own discretion.
I will be the first to admit the design is not exactly state of the art. I was unable to get any real photos out of the owners. However, for my first website build without any formal training or guidance I can hold my head high. It was much harder than I would have ever imagined. I tip my hat to the artists who navigate through CSS and HTML with grace and ease.

Oh, and the most important thing...they are happy.
